Construction Update - April 2021

Since our last construction update on March 13, ElbertonNET has activated the first zone in our Southeast Elbert expansion project.  Over 30 customers were installed during the last three weeks of March, and over 10 are scheduled for installation in the next few days.  We are overwhelmed by the positive response that we have received from these new customers, and we look forward to bringing more unserved areas of Elbert County online in the next few weeks and months.

We are pleased to report that the second zone for service on Lincolnton Hwy.—Ricetown—Hester Road—Cooter Creek area will be activated on Tuesday, April 6.  We connected the new node to our network on Thursday and entered a testing and configuration period.  Absent any issues that may develop in the next few hours and days, we will be ready to begin scheduling installation appointments for this second zone this week.  This zone is actually larger than the first one activated on the lower end of Bobby Brown St. Park Rd. and The Clubs area, so installation appointments will happen throughout the month of April.
