Construction Update - July 2021

At the end of June we were able to activate the fourth zone in our new Southeast Elbert expansion area of ElbertonNET.  This was the Bakers Ferry-Wahatchee Creek zone.  Now that half of the zones are on and serving customers, we are ready to complete the construction and activate the remaining four zones.  Our goal is to finish by the end of summer, but we still have a lot of geography to cover.

Starting the first week in July, we will begin work to complete the Lincolnton Hwy.--Cherokee Rd.--Balchin Rd. zone.  This should be completed by late July and be ready to install customers in August.  After that, we will work to complete the Flatwoods--Mauldin Rd.--Colonel Dixon Rd.--Dr. George Ward Rd.--Longstreet zone in August.
