Construction Update - September 2020
9:17AM September 26, 2020
Work has begun on the new fiber-to-the-home network in the neighborhood of Ruckersville and Harpers Ferry Road. Crews are in the area working to install fiber optic cable to serve several homes with great high speed Internet in the near future. Work will continue through October. Those that have pre-registered here on our website will be contacted as soon as the new network is ready.
On Friday, September 25, part of the new network being built in the neighborhood of Coldwater Rd-Peachtree Rd-Press Mann Rd became ACTIVE. That's right, we will begin to schedule installation appointments with those who have pre-registered for services here on this website. The homes on Press Mann Rd. south of Peachtree Rd. are now ready for service, and so are those on the eastern side of Peachtree Rd. Others in the neighborhood on the western side of Peachtree Rd. and on Coldwater Rd. will be ready for service in the next few weeks, weather permitting.
For those in Southeastern Elbert County, we will be working in your area soon. All material is on site in Elberton and ready to go. Check back here for construction updates. The neighborhood on Lower Bobby Brown State Park Road--Key Club--Fish & Game Club will be connected first in early 2021. The other seven neighborhoods have not reached their construction goal yet, so encourage your neighbors to pre-register through this website, connect.elberton.net.
We look forward to serving you soon!
